US-based independent manufacturer and distributor of automotive replacement parts, Standard Motor Products (SMP), has announced the finalization of its acquisition of AX V Nissens III APS (Nissens), a European manufacturer and distributor of aftermarket engine cooling and air conditioning products, according to a press release dated Nov. 1.
