Nishant is a senior analyst at S&P Global for the automotive aftermarket. His primary responsibilities include leading the News and Insight efforts for the newly launched AftermarketInsight service.
His research interests lie in analyzing significant technology changes taking place in the aftermarket, including e-mobility, access to data and digitalization. His responsibilities include conveying the implications of the sector’s key events to S&P Global's customers as quickly and succinctly as possible leveraging critical supporting data.
He brings with him eight years of experience in automotive journalism, research and communication. Prior to joining S&P Global, he helped a management consultancy devise a go-to-market strategy for a global luxury performance car brand. This followed several years as News Editor of India’s largest automotive publication, Autocar India, covering the product, regulations, business and OEM strategy aspects of the auto industry. He’s also worked as a business journalist reporting on the capital markets for an Indian real-time financial newswire, Informist Media.
Nishant holds a post-graduation in journalism from Xavier Institute of Communications, India and a bachelor’s degree in commerce and business from Mumbai University, India.
