Lumileds unveils Philips NightGuide platinum bulbs for safer nighttime driving

Philips' new halogen upgrade headlights aim to increase visibility and reduce eye fatigue without impairing oncoming traffic

Lumileds LLC, an LED manufacturer and a solution provider for the global automotive, illumination, display and flash markets, has introduced Philips NightGuide platinum halogen upgrade headlights as a direct, US Transportation Department (DOT)-compliant replacement for standard headlight bulbs, designed to improve night visibility and driver comfort, according to a press release dated Sept. 19.
