Yokohama Rubber launches its first fin tire for Daihatsu

The tire has 12 fins arranged in a V shape on the outside of the tire to achieve handling stability

Japan’s Yokohama Rubber Co., Ltd. has announced that it will release the aerodynamic fin tire ADVAN A50 designed for Daihatsu Motor Co., Ltd.'s light "COPEN" open sports car as a general commercial product exclusively for Daihatsu Motor Co., Ltd. at Daihatsu dealers nationwide from September 2024, according to a press release dated Aug. 28. The ADVAN A50, claimed to be the first fin tire launched by the company, will be available in one size, 165/50R16 75V.
