Yokohama Rubber acquires Goodyear's Off-The-Road tire business

The acquisition includes Nippon Giant Tire Co. Ltd. and Goodyear Earthmover Pty. Ltd., aiming to enhance Yokohama's product portfolio and production capabilities

Yokohama Rubber has announced its acquisition of Goodyear's Off-The-Road (OTR) tire business, comprising all shares of Nippon Giant Tire Co. Ltd., which operates a dedicated OTR plant in Tatsuno City, Hyogo Prefecture, Japan, and Goodyear Earthmover Pty. Ltd. in Australia, according to a press release dated July 22.
