US DOJ & FTC support MEMA’s petition on expanding access to vehicle telematics data
The US DOJ and FTC agreed that providing consumers access to their vehicle’s telematics data would pose a minimal threat to copyright holders
The Motor & Equipment Manufacturers Association (MEMA) Aftermarket Suppliers, an association in North America representing motor-vehicle component manufacturers, has announced that it applauds the recent submission from the US Justice Department (DOJ) and the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) to the US Copyright Office, according to a press release dated March 15.
