GKN Automotive appoints new chief information officer

The company appoints Volker Schwarz to the position; Schwarz’s previous positions included IT leadership roles in automotive, energy and defense industries

UK-based drive-systems supplier, GKN Automotive, announced that it has appointed Volker Schwarz as its new chief information officer (CIO), with immediate effect, according to a press release dated Jan. 2.
