Australian distributor CoolDrive says Bremtec brake pads now copper-free

Bremtec says as brake pads are used, microscopic brake dust particles enter the environment; with copper not breaking down, it can cause long-term harm

Australian automotive aftermarket parts distributor CoolDrive Auto Parts has announced that the brake pads from one of the braking brands that it distributes, Bremtec Brakes, are now manufactured without copper, as part of the company’s move to make its products more environmentally friendly, according to a press release dated October 11.
