German auto body develops tool to identify EV quick-charging points

The AI-based tool developed by its subsidiary Automotive Quality Institute identifies hotspots for expansion throughout Germany

VDA or the German Association of the Automotive Industry, has announced that its subsidiary Automotive Quality Institute GmbH (AQI GmbH) has developed a tool that can identify the need for quick-charging points for electric cars along highways throughout Germany, according to a press release dated 7 September.
