CLEPA: EU’s 100% CO2 reduction target puts half a million auto supplier jobs at risk
In a draft law, European lawmakers have approved the target of reaching zero CO2 emission for new passenger cars and light-duty vehicles by 2035
Sigrid de Vries, the Secretary General of CLEPA, the European Association of Automotive Suppliers, has strongly opposed a decision by the European Parliament to phase out all carbon-dioxide emitting light vehicles by 2035, according to an official statement by CLEPA dated 8 June.
