Bosch expands use of its Secure Diagnostic Access for workshops
Tool can now diagnose vehicles with access-protected electronics from additional OEMs such as Fiat, Alfa Romeo, Lancia, Abarth, Chrysler, Jeep, and Dodge/RAM
German automotive component supplier and service provider Bosch has announced that it has expanded the use of its Bosch Secure Diagnostic Access (SDA), which provides access to access-protected diagnostic contents using Esitronic diagnostic software. According to a press release dated 16 May, thanks to Esitronic 2.0 Online and KTS 250 software updates, users can now utilize SDA to access protected vehicle data of Fiat, Alfa Romeo, Lancia, Abarth, Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge/RAM vehicles. Furthermore, SDA will be expanded in June to provide access to current Mercedes-Benz vehicles, as well.
