Ionchi, an ultrafast-charging brand backed by BMW and Mercedes-Benz, headquartered in Beijing, has recently inaugurated its first seven public charging stations, signaling a significant step forward in the company's ambition to cater to the burgeoning electric vehicle market in mainland China, according to a report by China Daily dated Oct. 24.
