Phinia, the spinoff company of the fuel systems and aftermarket segments of Michigan, US-based powertrain technologies supplier BorgWarner, has announced its participation in Automechanika Frankfurt 2024 scheduled from Sept. 10 to 14, at Messe Frankfurt, according to a press release dated Sept. 1. This marks Phinia's debut at the event following its establishment as an independent entity in July 2023.
Phinia will highlight its presence with its brands such as Delphi, Delco Remy and Hartridge, showcasing an array of new products and technologies from its Steering & Suspension, Braking, NOx Sensor, and Starters & Alternators ranges. Additionally, Delphi will introduce a diagnostics innovation designed to enhance workshop efficiency and profitability.
Top representatives from Phinia's global teams will engage attendees on the company's vision, aftermarket strategies and advancements post its 2023 spinoff. Notably, Todd Anderson, Phinia's chief technology officer, will lead a discussion on the automotive industry's shift toward carbon neutrality, aligning with Automechanika's 2024 theme of Driving Transformation. Furthermore, Juan Thomaz, vice president and general manager Aftermarket Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA); and Neil Fryer, vice president and general manager, Global Aftermarket; will elaborate on Phinia's aftermarket approach and recent product introductions from its key aftermarket brands.
Phinia will also feature its Workshop Solutions and Diagnostic tools at the AGORA, engaging technicians in competitions aimed at showcasing their skills in replacing brake pads and discs efficiently.
