The new paint reduces car interior temperatures by leveraging sunlight reflection and electromagnetic waves, aiming for energy-efficient cooling without health risks

Nissan is conducting trials of an innovative paint that helps to reduce the ambient cabin temperature in summer, and to reduce the energy usage of the air-conditioning system, the Japanese automaker said in a press release on Aug. 6.
