VinFast, Marubeni partner to explore EV battery reuse in Vietnam
By repurposing EV batteries, VinFast expects to generate significant value in the circular economy model and promote sustainable transportation
VinFast, an electric vehicle manufacturer in Vietnam, and Marubeni Corp., a Japanese trading and investment conglomerate, have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to explore opportunities in the secondary use of EV batteries and establish a circular economy model, according to a press release dated Dec. 18.
