European mobility service providers call for action on in-vehicle data legislation
The service providers group says the legislation is crucial for innovation and competition in data-driven mobility sectors as well as for consumer choice
As part of the Independent Service Providers group, CLEPA and nine other European associations representing the mobility ecosystem, including consumers and insurers, have written to the European Commission’s President Ursula von der Leyen to express dismay at a new delay in the Commission’s adoption of a long-promised sectoral legislation for access to in-vehicle data, according to a press release dated Dec. 19 by The European Association of Automotive Suppliers.
