Schaeffler makes €3.6 billion bid to buy Vitesco Technologies
The company has made an offer of €91 a share in cash; plans to create a Vehicle Lifetime Solutions Division that will combine Vitesco’s Automotive Aftermarket activities with Schaeffler’s existing aftermarket platform
Schaeffler AG is offering to buy Vitesco Technologies Group AG in a €3.64 billion deal that would bolster the German ball-bearings maker’s presence in the electric vehicle supply chain, Yahoo Finance reported October 9, quoting news agency Bloomberg.
