US-based Clarios to acquire German supplier Paragon's battery unit

The acquisition will increase Clarios' engineering team that is dedicated to the development of new low-voltage architectures

Clarios, a US-based supplier of energy storage solutions to original equipment (OE) manufacturers and the aftermarket, has announced that it will purchase Paragon GmbH & Co. KGaA's power business that produces batteries and battery management systems for the automobile industry, according to a press release dated August 30.
