BMW, Bosch pilot project on data transmission to workshops

Both companies present a technical solution that allows independent workshops to access vehicle data, to enhance repair and maintenance services

German automotive component supplier and service provider Bosch and German automaker BMW have announced that they have presented a technical solution which allows independent workshops to access connected vehicle data, according to a press release from Bosch dated 30 September.
