CLEPA calls for sector-specific proposal after EU Data Act agreement
The association says sector-specific proposal necessary to improve competition, boost innovation capabilities and protect consumer rights and choice
Negotiators from the European Parliament and the Council of the EU reached an agreement June 28 on the Data Act legislation, which will regulate how data generated by connected objects can be accessed and shared, according to a press release from the European Association of Automotive Suppliers (Comité de Liaison Européen des Fabricants d'Equipements et de Pièces Automobiles: CLEPA) dated June 28.
