Wolfspeed and ZF to open R&D center in Nuremberg, Germany
The move will optimize SiC semiconductor technology
As part of their strategic partnership announced earlier this 2023, ZF Friedrichshafen AG, a leading global technology company of next-generation mobility, and Wolfspeed Inc., the global leader in Silicon Carbide (SiC) technology, announced their plans to establish a joint European research and development (R&D) center for SiC power electronics in the Nuremberg Metropolitan Region, Germany, as per Wolfspeed's press release on May 3.
