Indian government extends FAME 2 EV subsidy scheme until 2024
Government had allocated INR10,000 crore (USD1.3 billion) to accelerate EV adoption across India
The Union government of India has extended its EV subsidy scheme named Faster Adoption and Manufacturing of Hybrid and Electric Vehicles (FAME) by another two years till 31 March 2024, according to a notification issued in the Central government’s Gazette of India on 25 June.
