California needs 1.2 million EV charging stations by 2030, says new CEC report

California would require nearly 1.2 million electric vehicle (EV) charging stations by 2030 to charge 7.5 million passenger plug-in EVs anticipated to ply on the roads of the western US state, a new report compiled by the California Energy Commission (CEC) said.
