US aims to capitalize on the expected 10-fold growth in the global lithium battery market

Moving fast to secure domestic supply chains for large-scale production of lithium batteries, thereby cutting down dependency on other markets and promoting research and development in critical materials, the US government released a 10-year national blueprint for lithium batteries (2021–30) on June 7.
