New Zealand announces new rebates for electrified vehicles from 1 July

Buyers can get rebates of up to NZD8,625 (USD6,159.45) for new vehicles and NZD3,450 for used vehicles

New Zealand is taking action in line with the advice of the Climate Change Commission to increase the uptake of low emission vehicles by introducing a range of measures that will help meet the country’s 2050 carbon neutrality target and create jobs to support economic recovery.
