Bosch launches new electric drive for small trucks

Company says its technology results in longer range and improved efficiency thanks to new power semiconductors

German automotive component supplier and service provider Bosch has announced that it is bringing a new drive unit consisting of an electric motor plus an integrated inverter for vans and small and medium-sized trucks into series production, according to a press release dated 15 September.
