According to Mercedes-Benz, trading of counterfeit products on online platforms is rising

The company says over 1.86 million counterfeit Mercedes-Benz products were seized in over 650 customs and law enforcement raids in 2021

German carmaker Mercedes-Benz has said that the global trade in its counterfeit products continues to increase; in 2021 alone, more than 1.86 million counterfeit products were seized in over 650 raids, according to a press release dated 4 August. The company said trading of its counterfeits rose around 6% compared to 2020.
