The vehicle suppliers' association highlights tariffs' threat to jobs, consumer costs and North American competitiveness

The Motor & Equipment Manufacturers Association (MEMA) Aftermarket Suppliers, an association in North America representing motor-vehicle component manufacturers, has announced its opposition to the proposed 25% tariffs on goods from Mexico and Canada, saying that the tariffs would put additional pressure on the supplier industry and impede the ability of supplier companies to grow, invest and operate their businesses.
