Fortum partners with Marubeni for sustainable Li-ion recycling
Marubeni will assist Fortum by supplying in-process waste materials and processing chemicals, and exploring potential graphite and lithium recycling technologies
In a press release dated June 3, Fortum announced that it has entered into a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Marubeni Corp. to develop a sustainable lithium-ion (Li-ion) battery recycling chain with a focus on graphite recycling.
