Lumileds to sell its Lamps and Accessories business to First Brands Group

Lumileds says it will focus on its LED and microLED innovation in the automotive, general illumination, display and flash markets

Lumileds LLC, an LED manufacturer and a solution provider for the global automotive, illumination, display and flash markets, and First Brands Group LLC, a global automotive parts manufacturer serving the worldwide automotive aftermarket, announced that they have entered into an agreement for First Brands to acquire the Lamps and Accessories business of Lumileds for $238 million, according to a press release dated May 17.
