Seven OEMs to form high-power vehicle-charging JV in North America

The new JV is expected to expand access to all BEV owners by offering both CCS and NACS connectors

BMW Group, General Motors, Honda, Hyundai, Kia, Mercedes-Benz Group and Stellantis NV, according to a press release dated July 26, have agreed to collaborate on expanding a high-speed charging network, powered by renewable energy, by at least 30,000 charge points in urban and highway locations across North America.
