US aims to install a national EV charging network, incentivize consumers, finance EV supply chain, drive innovation in next-generation clean technologies

US has set an ambitious new target to make half of all new vehicles sold in 2030 zero-emissions vehicles, including battery electric (BEVs), plug-in hybrid electric (PHEVs), or fuel cell electric vehicles (FCEVs), the White House administration said in a statement on 5 August.
