US-based ASE announces ADAS certification for workshop technicians

The L4 ADAS Specialist Certification test will identify technicians who can diagnose, service and calibrate ADAS on automobiles, SUVs and light-duty trucks

The National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE), a US-based non-profit organization established in 1972, has announced the introduction of an Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) Specialist Certification test (L4) that helps workshops optimize repair opportunities on ADAS-equipped vehicles by employing L4-certified technicians, according to a press release dated September 27.
