BorgWarner to invest USD500 million in SiC technology company, Wolfspeed

Wolfspeed leads the market in the worldwide adoption of SiC and GaN technologies

Wolfspeed, a global player in Silicon Carbide technology, and BorgWarner Inc., a global player in mobility solutions for the vehicle market, announced a strategic partnership that calls for BorgWarner to invest USD500 million in Wolfspeed’s financing transaction, in exchange for a silicon carbide device capacity corridor, according to a press release dated 16 November.
